Cold Brew caffeine

Compared to regular coffee, most varieties of cold brews use more coffee beans and less water. That is, a cup of coffee will contain 200mg of cold brew caffeine per ounce, on average. This differs according to different brands.

Generally cold brew coffee uses more coffee beans than other coffee drinks like hot coffee, but cold brew is on the lesser side in case of the caffeine content. This is mainly because when coffee is brewed with hot water, a large amount of caffeine is extracted.

When compared to iced coffee, espresso, the caffeine content is on the higher side in cold brew. There are lots of factors that can determine the caffeine content in cold brews such as the number of coffee beans used. A larger quantity of coffee drinks can contain more caffeine and even some types of coffee beans may contain more caffeine content.
